I don't have pictures of Little Boy testing his blood sugar, or of him when he's been super low.
This is the day after being diagnosed. He was so scared and confused. Baby wanted to love on him, but he didn't want her near his IV ports.
And it got worse. While he was at the hospital he picked up Influenza A in the playroom.
This is Easter Sunday morning. I thank God every day for the treatment of this disease. I wouldn't miss out on this smile for the world!

What a marked improvement! That is one great smile!
Oh, he really does look sad and scared in that first picture. I'm so glad those days are behind you all now. That smiling picture made me smile too!
