My head

almost hurts as much as my heart. It's just so hard to see my son go through the things he does. And today the insurance agent told us she could sell us a life insurance policy that would cover my husband, me and my daughter, but not my son b/c of his diabetes. I wanted too scream at her and throw her out of my house. It may not be her fault, but it has to be someone's fault.

Perhaps others will learn from this. Our nephew died at age five of a congenital defect that went undiscovered. All of our children were older, but both my SiL and I bought small policies for our grandchildren. I'm still paying on one - $3.97/month. Because of those policies, my grandchildren have a small coverage -- and the right to purchase more at specific ages no matter what their health.
