Read my lips!

So homeschooling has been a challenge the last couple days. I have laryngitis. My kids have selective hearing. They've figured out that when I whistle or snap my fingers I'm not calling for the dog. But it really is difficult to squelch the bickering without a voice. I did manage to say a few words, but it really resembled the sound a duck call makes when blown full force. Not pretty. I probably should be on voice rest for a couple more days. We'll see how that goes. I need to go find a big stick. sigh
